Teaching oral English through technology: Perceptions of teachers in Nigerian secondary schools

English Language learners in Nigeria mostly find Oral difficult to understand but technology is now supportive. However, being a dynamic language, the constantly evolving and so are technologies used its teaching. This study, therefore, intends re-examine teachers’ current perceptions towards usage teaching English. The study was descriptive. sample comprised 215 teachers whom an instrument titled “Teachers’ Current Perceptions of Teaching through Technology Questionnaire (TCPTOETQ)”, administered. Six research questions were formulated answered using Mean, Standard Deviation, One-Way ANOVA, t-test. result showed that currently have positive use It therefore recommended stakeholders education provide continuous training for adaptation changing landscapes Keywords: Teachers; English; Technology; Secondary Schools; Nigeria.
